What Is Salt?

You may be asking, "What is Salt?" Salt is a game we've been working on for over two years. We wanted to create a game about exploration and adventure that would allow you to create your own story. We wanted Salt to be something new and something memorable. It is currently in an in-development game and we are constantly updating and adding new content.



In Salt, you will find yourself sailing across an ocean and exploring different islands that you come across. These islands are procedurally generated and so each one is unique. In your adventures you will encounter different advertises and discover hidden places and treasure throughout the world. At it's core, Salt is about you and your adventure. We want you to look back on your time played at Salt with fond memories and stories that you want to share with others.

What features are in the early access version? 

Currently in Salt you can fight pirates and bosses, hunt animals, defend yourself against enemies at night, gather resources and craft for survival, sail the seas, trade with merchants, and discover treasure and hidden places throughout the world.

What are some features and plans for the future? 

 We've got a lot planned for Salt and player feedback is going to be an important tool in shaping the direction of this game. With that said, here are some things we currently have planned.
