This Week at Lavaboots: Loot, Lore, and Fish
Hey all!
This week at Lavaboots we've been working on more content related to the upcoming pirate islands. Namely, we've been adding in new loot, writing some new lore, and designing new fish.
Loot
If you don't know already, our next update will feature a brand new pirate island with some of the toughest pirates in game yet. We want to make sure these pirates drop some good gear and make the challenge worth it. There are numerous pirate types on the new islands, including a possible Pirate King that carries some very valuable loot, but we'll keep the details secret for now. We've also added a new gold chest to these islands with some neat items as well.
Lore
In addition to new loot, we want these islands to have a slew of new lore books at well. The new lore will feature journals, notes, mythology, and possibly even hint to some secrets. We try to add more lore in with each update that is fun, relevant, and mysterious.
Fish
In this update we are also adding new fish exclusive to the new pirate islands. We love fishing in Salt, and we always want there to be tons of fish in the game so you're always left guessing if you've caught them all.
